SUMMARY:Priority Number One
DESCRIPTION:Career Management & Self-Advocacy for Modern Creative Pros\n\n\nCreative careers are odd. Ups\, downs\, and sideways\, we manage — but do we thrive? One thing is certain\, no one is responsible for our professional success outside of ourselves. In this world of layoffs\, off-shoring\, and point-click expectations\, creative pros need strategies and insights to make it through the week\, let alone a lifetime. Join AIGA Arizona for a panel discussion on career topics like workplace self-advocacy\, writing & publishing\, portfolio maintenance\, mentors\, and more. The tone is casual but evocative; we want to start talking about these big issues for the benefit of our shared community. This session is hosted by Prescott Perez-Fox\, Business of Design Director for AIGA Arizona and Assistant Teaching Professor at Arizona State University. Confirmed panelists include Danny Gregory\, veteran creative director and founder of Sketchbook School\, Kameron Davis\, designer at Historic and founder of PWR Design\, and Madison Delaney\, Lead UX Researcher at ASU EdPlus. \n___ \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION: Your registration constitutes permission to use photos\, audio\, and video recording taken of you at the event for promotional and educational purposes in connection with AIGA Arizona\, and places you on the master mailing list. \nAIGA Arizona has adopted the AIGA Code of Conduct with regard to its activities.
