You will join our new Global Services Center in Phoenix/Tempe as part of our Visual Graphics & Media’s Design & Media team. You will be a member of a regional team that focuses primarily on US-based projects.

You will provide creative guidance and share knowledge with team members and beyond, coach and instruct junior-tenured colleagues, and lead internal/departmental project teams.

You will support, co-create and at times lead project efforts to arrive at best-in-class design and communications solutions for our specific project needs.

You will conceptualize, develop and generate compelling, innovative design and media solutions across multiple media based on briefings and co-creation with our customers (primarily consultants and other relevant stakeholders).
You will drive the creative process and act as a sparring partner to customer teams on co-creating solutions for highly visible communication situations.

You will play an important role supporting our customers through effective facilitation and thought partnership conversations to ideate and build optimal design solutions, in addition to fully managing design projects for clients and internal audiences – from planning and monitoring the entire production process to collaborating closely within the design unit team.

As a Senior Media Designer, you will develop a deep knowledge in specific media types such as video & animation, illustration, UI, microsite design, 3D/Immersive and bespoke presentation design. You will test/implement new technology (e.g., design software), workflow adjustments and/or new service offerings as appropriate; actively stay in touch with the latest design trends and apply all knowledge to innovate and elevate our service offering.

Updated portfolio focused on graphic design work in a single PDF file or web based portfolio (i.e. Behance, Dribble, etc.) showcasing primarily samples of branding, slides/decks, layouts, booklets, posters, banners, logos, illustrations or similar

Degree (BA/Master) in design-related area (e.g., Graphic Design, Corporate Design, Visual Communication Design, Motion Design, Film and Animation)

1+ years of experience either as a designer or senior designer in a corporate or design agency; preferred focus is corporate visual communications (print and digital media products)

Professional knowledge of design theory and practice Highly skilled in creating compelling design concepts, presenting ideas convincingly, and data visualization

Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC/CS and PowerPoint; competent in other common MS Office programs, plus a spike in software related to a specific field of visual communication/media design (e.g., hand-drawn illustration skills, 3D, video & animation expertise); capable of using common tools for digital collaboration

Experience in the area of UI/UX and working with web content management systems such as Drupal are an advantage Ability to work well independently or collaboratively with diverse project teams.

Excellent organizational skills with effective project and workflow management.

Comfortable with and energized by planning and managing multiple projects in parallel and adapting to a changing and ambiguous environment.

Detail-oriented yet able to consider the bigger picture coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Customer-centric mindset and enthusiastic about design work within a corporate environment, generating new ideas, and striving for constant growth

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills/design thinking; creative thinking and intrinsic motivation
