Last month, we hosted our first Dinner with a Design Legend featuring Bob Case, Chief Creative Officer of The Lavidge Company.

During the dinner, an intimate group of 10 local designers gathered around a table to share a yummy meal at the Vig Uptown, talk with Bob, exchange advice with him and each other, and network with fellow designers.

A few of the attendees shared their feedback with us after the event. Here’s what they said:

“It’s helpful to be able to talk over dinner in a relaxed atmosphere, especially with someone with a lot of experience; it’s rare to have that time. Talking with a fellow designer about an experience and then right away being able to ask a design legend about their opinion is great!” 

“I learned that there’s an increasing understanding of how important adequately addressing client needs is, and that various organizations are addressing it differently.”

“I was encouraged to hear about the ups and downs of working in the design world – I thought it was really helpful to talk to other people about internships and their work experience — and learn that networking is a great way to get out there!”
