Meet the panelists:

Aaron Thomason – Graphic Designer, Thomason Design
Aaron is a Phoenix-based Senior UX Strategist, after over 20 years of experience in designing for the web and print. He currently works for a large energy company, helping create and test designs for their customer-facing websites and in-house applications.

In addition to his day job and user experience role, Aaron’s side hustle freelance business caters to the local craft beer community, allowing him to design beer labels and illustrate brewery swag for several Arizona breweries. In his free time (ha!) he enjoys the outdoors, from long camping trips to just sitting outside with a cup of coffee.

Joe Matarazzo – Owner, Goodfellas Merch
Joe is a 42 year old native to Arizona. Growing up in punk rock and skateboard culture made graphic design and screen printing a must! He started his journey in art right out of high school in 2001. Focused on body piercing and graphic design, he opened a boutique in the west valley catering to all of it. Shortly after in 2005, he took a turn into producing graphic tees. By 2007 Goodfellas was born and off they sailed. With a vision of guerilla marketing and word of mouth, they rapidly became a very busy shop focused on the music and clothing brand industry. They have learned to adapt with the times and carry out classic traditional style screen printing and embroidery.

Will Mejia – VP of Experience, Inizio Evoke
Will Mejia, a dad, husband, and overall creative force in the design and marketing industry for over 20 years. Under his leadership, teams consistently deliver outstanding work, both for clients, and personably in their careers. He has established a reputation as a great leader, collaborator, a masterful designer and creative thinker. Currently, Will is VP of Experience for Inizio Evoke, a global health marketing, communications, and transformation platform.
