Personal Finance for Creative Pros
Join us for this hands-on, practical workshop lead by Prescott Perez-Fox—AIGA-AZ Business of Design Chair, former freelancer, and late-bloomer personal finance nerd. Get ready for guidance for creative pros through the essentials of personal finance, examining household budgeting, saving, investing, and retirement planning.
We’ll cover finances for independent practitioners, including project setup, pricing/rate-setting, and invoicing, to help curious first-time freelancers excel from the start. This session will be highly interactive, with resources and tools shared in the room, and plenty of space for cross-talk and conversation. We’ll also keep the conversation fueled with coffee, tea, and snacks.
