Danny Upshaw

I’m a Native American born and raised in Phoenix Arizona. I studied drafting and visual communications ITT Technical Institute, and I currently work for a telemedicine company where I support the marketing and R&D departments with graphics.

The things that interest me are architecture, graphic design, photography, video production and industrial design. With so many different interests in a variety of fields, my main focus is in graphic design. I think what makes me special is that I’m willing to expand my mind and adapt to constraints and find solutions. I am still new to the design industry and I want to experience all that it can offer.

My experience with Arizona AIGA has been very positive, my involvement just began recently and has open my eyes to how much culture, creativity, and inspiration is in Arizona. AIGA’s reach to creative people seems to be unmatched and can allow anybody to grow. It’s great to meet with other great talent and exchange insight, and as a young designer it’s valuable to get your name out there and look for opportunities for great projects.
