Pixels of Fury | Phoenix Design Week 2014

What better way to kick off the 6th annual Phoenix Design Week than having a live poster design competition?
On Friday, October 17th, six designers took the stage at Pixels of Fury to see whose rapid-fire designs out-shined the rest. Competitors Mike Giles, Paul Dunbar, Nicole Stumphauzer, Lyndze Blosser, Adam Mann, and Zachary Bates faced off to create original posters in less than 20 minutes with over 200 people watching. Three designers went head to head during each round, while the audience and and judges Austin Baker and Lynn Fisher voted to decide who would move on to the next round. During the final round, Paul Dunbar and Nicole Stumphauzer battled for the big win. In the end, Nicole Stumphauzer was named the champion and took home the infamous Furious Pixel trophy!
