The AIGA Arizona chapter has evolved over the years to include so much more than events.
While we’re proud to provide networking opportunities and educational workshops and panels, we challenge ourselves constantly to provide more segmented programming, resources, and support for our creative community. Here’s a preview of what we’ve got going on.

Business of Design
Are you a creative entrepreneur looking to master the business side of your passion? AIGA Arizona’s Business of Design Initiative can help you transform your creative venture into a thriving business.
Design for Good
Design for Good is a movement to ignite, accelerate, and amplify design-driven social change.
Education
Education supports academic programs, educators, and students by providing leadership and learning opportunities, useful to designers at all levels.
Mentorship
AIGA Arizona’s Mentorship initiative focuses on connecting emerging designers with local design leaders. Our mentorship opportunities provide the creative community with leadership and learning opportunities, useful to designers at all levels.
In-House
In-house designers account for a third of our membership and this initiative serves members of the in-house creative community by providing opportunities to learn, grow, and connect.
Phoenix Design Week
PHXDW is a week-long series of events that bookend a two-day conference with a rotating theme. The conference is organized by community volunteers for creative professionals.
Design Archive
An ongoing project started in 2014 showcase the significant contributions the design industry makes to our state, the annual “Best Of” exhibition invites every Arizona designer to have their work documented and celebrated as part of our common history.
Tucson + Flagstaff
AIGA AZ is proud to support the creative community and happy to provide programming and resources all over the state with the help of our satellite boards in Tucson and Flagstaff.
Student Groups
AIGA encourages the formation of student groups at colleges and universities as a way of encouraging students to take the first step in demonstrating a commitment to their professional interest and assisting them in understanding the profession.
